Day 1 Wed: Athens
Transfer from airport or port to hotel.

Day 2 Thu: Athens
Morning city tour of Athens. Highlights include the Olympic Stadium, Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, Parthenon, the Acropolis Museum and Syntagma Square. For those who are lucky enough, watch the  Changing of the Guards who stand over the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Afternoon free to wander through traditional Plaka area beneath the Acropolis. Athenian Callirhoe hotel or similar. (B)

Day 3 Fri: Athens-Mykonos
This morning, transfer to the port and enjoy the leisurely ferry to Mykonos. Pass other islands on your journey arriving to Mykonos shortly after lunchtime. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy the afternoon exploring the  hotel or nearby beach. Pelican Bay Hotel or similar. (B)

Day 4 Sat: Mykonos
Free day to spend in Mykonos. We suggest taking an optional half day tour to the archaeological island of Delos. Other suggestions include spending time in the main town with its taverna’s, boutiques, churches and  windmills or hire a car for a day. Pelican Bay Hotel or similar. (B)

Day 5 Sun: Mykonos-Santorini
Transfer to port for highspeed ferry to Santorini. Transfer to your hotel. then perhaps take a bus into the romantic village of Oia to view the sunset or walk the cobble streets and shop at local galleries. El Greco Hotel or  similar. (B)

Day 6 Mon: Santorini
Whole day to explore the island. Optional tours include island bus tours, sunset cruise, spa treatments and car hire to explore the villages, vineyards or beaches. Do not miss the famous black sand beaches of Kamari  or Perissa. El Greco Hotel or similar. (B)

Day 7 Tue: Santorini-Rhodes
After breakfast transfer to the airport for flight to Rhodes (direct flight or via Athens, subject to availability). Upon arrival into Rhodes, transfer to the hotel for overnight.Mediterranean Hotel or similar. (B)

Day 8 Wed: Rhodes
Today free to explore the island which once hosted the incredible Colossus of Rhodes at the entry point to the port. Other highlights worth a visit are: the Crusader Castle, Acropolis of Lindos and Temple of Apollo. (B)

Day 9 Thu: Rhodes-Marmaris
Transfer to the port for ferry to the Turkish port of Marmaris. Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to hotel for overnight. Anemon Hotel or similar. (D)

Day 10 Fri: Marmaris-Koycegiz-Fethiye
This morning start Turkish part of this program which is guideed coach tour. Drive to the lakeside town Koycegiz, where we take a boat cruise to turtle beach and enjoy some pampering at the local mudbath. Continue to Fethye for overnight at Atapark Hotel. (B, D)

Day 11 Sat: Fethiye-Kayakoy-Oludeniz-Fethiye
Visit the Greek Village of Kayakoy. Once a thriving Greek town with over a thousand houses, two churches, fourteen chapels and two schools, the town was deserted when the 25,000 Greeks were repatriated to  Greece. Explore the ghost town before driving on to Oludeniz for opportunity see the famed Blue Lagoon. Enjoy swimming in the calm crystal clear waters or sunbathing on the golden sandy beach. Overnight in Fethiye, Atapark. (B)

Day 12 Sun: Fethiye-Saklikent Gorge-Antalya
Morning departure for the shady cool of Saklikent Gorge. This Canyon is only visible from inside and stretches 20kms. Explore some of the Gorge before returning to the Coach to cross the Tauros Mountains into  Antalya. Dinner and overnight at BW Ghant Hotel. (B, D)

Day 13 Mon: Antalya-Aspendos-Konya-Cappadocia
After breakfast departure to Konya, stopping enroute at Aspendos and view its majestic theatre. Upon arrival in Konya, tour the monastery of the Mervlana and his Whirling Dervishes. Visit the museum and learn the  history behind this unusual dance and religion. Afternoon drive to Cappadocia via Seljuk a fine example of an ancient Silk Road. Overnight and dinner in Cappadocia Peri Tower Hotel. (B, D)

Day 14 Tue: Cappadocia
Full day touring the unique region of Cappadocia known for its landscapes and Fairy Chimneys. First stop is to the Kaymakli underground city. One of the largest underground settlements, the tunnels and rooms are still used today for storage, cellars and stables. Continue on to the Open Air Museum at Goreme, a reminder of the Christians who once used the natural landscape to hide from the raiding Muslim parties. Finish the day  with a visit to the natural fortress in Uchisar. Optional Turkish Folklore evening with dinner. Overnight at Peri Tower Hotel. (B)

Day 15 Wed: Cappadocia-Ankara-Safranbolu
Optional sunrise balloon ride over the magnificent Fairy Chimneys of the region. Return to the hotel for breakfast before departing the hotel for the drive to Ankara. Upon arrival in the Capital, visit the Mausoleum of the  founder of modern day Turkey, Ataturk. Finish the visit with a short tour of the Museum before driving north to the World Heritage Listed town of Safranbolu. Overnight in Cinci Hani or Lokum Kongi Hotel or similar. (B, D)

Day 16 Thu: Safranbolu-Istanbul
Morning city tour of Safranbolu. Taste the fine examples of Turkish Delight and discover the examples of Ottoman architecture throughout the old city situated in a deep ravine between the mountains. After the tour,  board the coach for the drive to Istanbul. Upon arrival enjoy an afternoon visit to the famed Grand Bazaar. Overnight at Ramada Old City Town. (B)

Day 17 Fri: Istanbul
After breakfast, transfer to Ataturk airport. (B)
